		<description>Ben,
The house looks great. This is not related to the house, but I have a question for you and really would like your input regarding a billion dollar start up that I'm involved with. Please email me asap at jcrosby@kwcharleston.com. Sorry for sending this through the blog, but I could not find your personal contact info anywhere. Thanks.

<description>i love your house. please don't consider it dated; maintain its integrity by improving the quality with wood windows and functional kitchen in the same aesthetic. keep the brown stain. lush landscaping will be a bigger improvement than a different stain. don't contrast the wood trim unless you use a dark color on door only. greenery is your accent. shade garden is so peaceful to come home to.

		<description>Hello Ben and Leslie,

I love this house blog of yours. If you are into that kind of personal home diary, you may enjoy browsing through my green blog, "The Daily Sins of a Green Girl Wannabe". I am a wannabe green do gooder from Palo Alto, and have decided to engage in some kind of self exploration about all the day to day psychological barriers, that get in the way of being a good green citizen. I am also working on a green Web 2.0 project collaboration that would involve collaborating with cities one at a time, to create a green community around the trading of green products and services, locally. The link to my blog is: http://lamarguerite.wordpress.com
best,
marguerite

<description>What a great ranch house. Looks like you have your work cut out. I had a run in with a pack rat and it ended poorly.
cheers

<description>As a temporary remedy to keep the critters out, plant mint (it's basically a weed, it WILL spread) around your foundations/exterior walls. Apparently mice &#038; other small animals (mostly rodents I think) find it absolutely repellent, so it'll help keep them out.

In the meantime, you need to train the cat a little better. Teach him to make a good, clean kill! We had 2 mice get into our house. The first one was tormented by the cats, but I caught it &#038; took it outside in time. The second, one of the cats killed (no blood, luckily) and laid next to our bed as a prize at 3 AM.
